See this content in the original post

In today's digital age, videos have become a more engaging and dynamic medium than regular podcast audio. As a result, many content creators are turning towards YouTube as an interesting way to share their message with the world.

In this episode, I will be exploring how to build a successful YouTube business by utilizing insights from Mike Kim's "You Are the Brand" and Jonathan Milligan's "Your Message Matters."

To kickstart our exploration, we're conducting an experiment on ChatGPT to see if it can help us organize our thinking around building a personal brand on YouTube. By asking for an outline and a long-form post to develop a practice plan, I have been provided with 11 key steps to building a successful YouTube business based on the themes from Mike Kim and Jonathan Milligan's books.

Throughout this episode, I’ll be adding my own thoughts and ideas to help you create a compelling personal brand on YouTube.

We'll dive deeper into these concepts:

  • Defining your vision and values

  • Identifying your target audience

  • Developing your unique value proposition

  • Establishing your brand identity

  • Planning your content strategy

  • Creating high-quality videos

  • Optimization, engagement, and promoting your channel

  • Analysis, feedback, and continuous learning and improvement
